"I have a question! Is there the season event in Vermont? What kind of event is there in Vermont?"
I want to know all a season affecting things. It is not only a festival.
For example… If, it snowed. What you should do by life after snowed. etc…What you can do? What you should do? Please teach me a lot of things in Vermont.
Hi Yukihiro-
ReplyDeleteYou may get a lot of different answers to your questions. The snow is melting early this year. But the weather can change quickly. So, it could snow again. As long as there is snow in the mountains, people will be skiing. Until the ice becomes dangerous, there is ice fishing. In the Champlain Valley, the sugar houses are in action (you will learn about this while you are here). Once the snow melts, people will find a way to get outside. Some will take four wheel drive pick up trucks into the mud and get them as dirty as they can (this is called "mudding"). Others will walk, or start riding bicycles- my son and I just rode our bikes today. Others will simply start documenting signs of spring and planning gardens. This is the time of year when we talk about "cabin fever" which describes a restless feeling after a winter indoors. It was quite mild today with a temperature of 50 degrees F, or about 10 degrees C. I hope that winter does not return for your visit.
